Stonehelm - Stonehelm (2010)

Stonehelm from Ventura, California. Highly addictive & influenced stoner/ doom done the right way. I think the cover art speaks for itself..

Just making a request for Bad Trip's EP, "What Does Not Evolve Must Burn." Thank you, best blog for stoner rock out there.

too bad that this is MP3@128kbps. The cut below 16kHz leaves no doubts. Thanks anyway

Stonehelm destroy - I live in Aldershot in the UK by the way so I can only go on the music and it smokes, as do they? Killer grooves anyway.

Kind of boring.

If you like Stonehelm, check out Sleestak's new album Skylon Express. They sound like a mix of Samsara Blues Experiment mixed with Stonehelm and Howl. Perfect stuff to blaze to. Real fuckin' heavy while also laidback and spacey. Check out this link for a review: http://www.doommantia.com/2010/06/sleestak-library-of-skulls-skylon.html

Sludge Swamp is shit. They really need to get their act together on doing quality releases with correct tags and information.

Just started listining. They seem pretty cool...Are the lyrics kinda videogame fueled?

Boooooring. Deleted immediately.

How many bands have done that exact Conan clip now?

I guess stoners all have one thing in common: they're too stoned to remember (or care) that something's been done over and over and over again.

Woaw , I'm a new fan of this Group Now !

128?? It's 320kbps. Thanks again Robin. I'm 47 and don;t have any mates left who are into the heavier stuff so your blog is my link to the coolness. Boom-fuckin-shanka.

About the correct tracklist. Is the track order mixed up or are the title tags uncorrectly?

Sludgey, doom-laden, crushingly heavy....... yeah yeah yeah, but how about mentioning which bands have a lead guitarist who actually knows how to solo? A metal song without a solo is like having sex without the money shot.
