The Devil Rides Out plays a fat, bluesy, motor-whiskey-fueled style of rock music. This is their debut full-length after releasing 3 EP's. Sit back & enjoy some good ol' filthy grooves with rough vocals, all in a nice, thick production. Nothing too groundbreaking, but who gives a damn when it rocks this hard? Their overall sound somewhat reminded me of Melbourne's Mammoth Mammoth. Australia sure knows how to nail it when it comes to blazing rock 'n roll... Solid stuff!
